Looking for a way to get involved with SMPS New Mexico without a long-term commitment? Our micro-volunteer opportunities are flexible, low-time commitments that allow you to contribute your skills, grow professionally, and increase visibility for both yourself and your firm.

Whether you have an hour here and there or want to support a specific initiative, micro-volunteering is a great way to build connections, develop leadership skills, and support the chapter in meaningful ways.

Micro-Volunteer Opportunities

Sponsorship Support

Help us strengthen relationships with our sponsors and ensure they receive maximum value.

• Assist with sponsor outreach (cold calls, emails, follow-ups)

• Help coordinate or draft end-of-year sponsor thank-you recaps

• Track sponsor benefits and confirm they are delivered throughout the year

Registration & Event Support

Support smooth, welcoming event experiences.

• Assist with event check-in at the registration table during programs

Website Support

Help keep our website current and useful for members and partners.

• Update and refresh website pages as needed

Research & Outreach

Help us stay connected to the broader community and generate fresh ideas.

• Research community events and philanthropic opportunities

• Identify local events SMPS NM can leverage or partner with

• Explore ideas and best practices from other SMPS chapters

Communications & Copywriting

Support consistent, professional chapter communications.

• Draft email templates aligned with our communications calendar

• Help create reusable content for programs, sponsorships, and announcements
