At this members-only event, attendees will participate in a dynamic roundtable with presentations from three long-time SMPS Members, who will discuss how to maximize the benefit of your SMPS membership!

Tracy will focus on Building Your Career through mentorship, and SMPS resources; Danielle will speak about Communication, from fine-tuning your writing (and editing) skills, to managing technical writing in proposals; and Kim will focus on Marketing Management, including how to incorporate innovative ideas into your marketing tactics and how to build the next generation of marketing managers.

Heavy appetizers will be served and your first drink is on us!

Tracy Chiado, CPSM
Marketing Operations Manager
Wilson & Company Inc., Engineers & Architects

Tracy Chiado, CPSM has over 17 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations and strategic planning. During her career she has prepared marketing strategies for everything from newspapers, to concerts, to million dollar public-infrastructure projects. She currently serves as Wilson & Company's Marketing Operations Manager. She manages strategic proposal responses, digital and traditional media marketing and corporate branding. She has led both internal and external marketing and communications initiatives for the firm that have helped to build a culture of marketing within the Company.

Her extensive background includes six years as Marketing Manager for the Albuquerque Journal which afforded her the opportunity to gain experience working directly with New Mexico municipalities, as well as the public. She also served on the SMPS New Mexico Chapter Board of Directors for several years, most recently serving as a two term President for the Chapter. Tracy works with intent and a collaborative approach to build relationships with coworkers and clients.

Danielle Aronson, CPSM
Proposal and Communications Manager
Daniel B. Stephens & Associates, Inc.

Danielle Aronson is a Proposal and Communications Manager at Daniel B. Stephens & Associates, Inc. (DBS&A), a water resources, environmental science, and engineering consulting firm headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since 2006, she has been a member of SMPS Chapters in Boston, Virginia, and New Mexico - most recently serving as the secretary. Danielle has almost 10 years of A/E/C industry experience as a creative and technical writer, editor, and graphic designer, and holds a master's degree in professional communications from Clark University.

Kim Altmire
Corporate Marketing Director
Bridgers & Paxton

Kim Altmire has worked in the A/E/C industry for more than 25 years. She joined Bridgers & Paxton in 2002 and is currently the firm's Corporate Marketing Director. B&P is a 140 person regional engineering firm headquartered in Albuquerque, NM. Kim graduated from UNM's Anderson School of Management with a BBA in Marketing. She has been a member of SMPS for 17 years. Her passion for marketing the A/E/C industry started with a construction summer internship and developed while working for regional infrastructure and building engineering firms.

Kim serves as the senior marketing staff member for B&P's three offices and assists with training and orientation of all new marketing/BD staff. Her responsibilities include the coordination of project pursuit efforts for nine principals and a dozen senior staff members in the Albuquerque office; assisting these principals/technical staff with business development activities and working with the firm's marketing staff on the development and modernization of the firm's project/marketing database and company website. Kim believes that you can never have too many people listening, communicating and working to market the firm's capabilities. This is why she meets with every new employee during the onboarding process and encourages them to think of themselves as being part of the marketing team.
