November Program

Refine with Design: From the basics to the little extras, design can make all the difference.

Thursday, November 17th at Season’s Rotisserie & Grill

Design a brochure, digital ad or a proposal; hey it’s easy, right? All you need is Microsoft Word. NOT! What you need is a solid understanding of the basic principles and elements of design, which are easy to learn, use and can enhance any project you work on.

During this engaging session, you’ll learn the basics of good design, how to incorporate fun and unique elements (the little extras) that will make your collateral materials, ads (print & digital) and proposals stand out from the pack.

Learning Outcomes (Takeaways):

  1. Participants will identify the basic principles and elements of design
  2. Attendees will examine samples of good and poor design
  3. Participants will create a simple ad using the basics of design
